POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Warehouse Supervisor
to join our growing team! The Warehouse Supervisor for OSG USA is the key Innovator responsible for supervising the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials. Maintains stock records and schedules. Extremely knowledgeable with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

Warehouse Supervisor meets OSG Warehouse Skills Matrix standards. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Job Functions for Warehouse Supervisor:

• Assigns, directs, and monitors the work of associates
• Trains new associates
• Performs employee reviews and maintains CheckPoint Trackers of all Warehouse Associates
• Handles any/all disciplinary requirements of Warehouse Associates
• Motivates associates to ensure that predetermined productivity, and quality standards are achieved or exceeded
• Designs and implements work methods and procedures to increase productivity and improve service within the warehouse
• Ensure accurate inventory control, cycle counts, and proper documentation
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, or shipping errors
• Collaborate with other departments to assure accuracy and customer satisfication of shipments
• Ensures safety and housekeeping
• Prepares and submits daily and weekly paperwork
• Monitors all shipping and warehouse supplies are stocked
• Closes the building down at the end of the day. Ensures all employees have exited the building and arm the alarm system.
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• Five plus years in distribution or manufacturing experience
• Three plus years experience as a supervisor
• Excellent working knowledge of general warehouse operations. (ie: UPS, FEDEX, LTL, International Shipments, picking/packing/Cycle Counting/etc…)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
• Process oriented, goal oriented
• Ability to manage a multitude of tasks
• Ability to schedule work assignments
• Ability to obtain a powered industrial truck certification

• Experience or Certification in Six Sigma or Lean
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

• $66,560 - $76,960 depending on experience + Monthly bonus potential

• Read, write, and understand and communicate by telephone using the English language.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Our workplace is in a temperature-controlled environment with better than adequate lighting. The noise level in the warehouse environment is occasionally noisy. (Bell ringing, heavy communication between co-workers, company paging system, trucks unloading at loading docks).

Hours: Monday - Friday from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
