Ops Manager – Operations Manager oversees operations and personnel at the Ryder shop location, ensuring business objectives, labor requirements, quality, safety, and financial targets are met.

Essential Functions
- Operations Management:
Optimize labor and shift patterns, manage vehicle planning and scheduling, track productivity, oversee APS execution. - Labor Management:
Manage personnel training, performance management, technical training plan, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, succession planning. - Customer Management:
Maintain customer relationships, issue resolution, satisfaction and retention, vehicle uptime, and communication protocol. - Asset Management:
Maintain shop appearance, 6S standards, tooling, vehicle specifications, parts inventory, and vendor coordination. - Quality Management:
Conduct inspections, root cause analysis, corrective actions, compliance with quality metrics, safety, and regulatory requirements. - Financial Management:
Achieve net maintenance cost per unit targets, manage budget & P&L, vendor sourcing, invoice reconciliation, warranty recovery, data integrity.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills And Abilities
- Professional representation of Ryder and customer interaction.
- Understanding of labor, financial, operating, quality, safety, and asset processes.
- Strong personal accountability and results orientation.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Reporting system usage for data analysis (preferred).
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred).
- Fleet management software (preferred).
- Maintenance and technical shop experience (preferred).
Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) years or more experience in an operations environment or proven success in a Ryder role.
- 0 to 1 year supervisory experience required.

- Pay Type:
Salaried - Minimum Pay Range: $74,000
- Maximum Pay Range: $74,000
