Industrial Maintenance Electrician - 2nd Shift

Tek Pro is partnered with a leading food processor in their search for a Maintenance Technicians in the St Charles, IL area. There are multiple openings on 2nd shift for skilled Industrial Electricians and Mechanics, and the positions are direct hire with excellent salary, overtime, and benefits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the repair and upkeep of the facility and its machinery.
• Perform preventative (PM) maintenance tasks on company equipment.
• Execute timely hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machine repairs per work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance around the building.
• Repair plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures.
• Work on electrical up to 480v
• Perform hazardous communication audits and address potential safety hazards.
• Practice and maintain efficient housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
• 1-5+ years of related experience in packing machines/production machines with specific experience in the food industry
• Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques
• Compliance and understanding of safety rules and regulations by participating in annual training.
• Must be flexible to work weekends and other shifts as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work well independently and in a team setting.

• 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
