Warwick Publishing (St. Charles, IL) is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our operations. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments of product, raw material, or other items as they pertain to Warwick’s operations. This is a hands-on position that involves both computer work and physical activity throughout the day.
Responsibilities- Coordinate, send, and receive inbound and outbound freight
- Complete the packing and shipping process of jobs once finished in production
- Provide freight quotes for the Customer Service Department
- Maintain communication with logistics and freight providers
- Assist the Material Handler in moving raw or work-in-process materials throughout the building, including use of Hand Jacks and Forklifts
- Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role
- Strong attention to written details
- Comfortable working with Windows computers
- Current Forklift Certification or willingness to become Forklift Certified
- Prior experience in print production or quality control of printed and/or foil stamped products
- Prior experience/exposure to the promotional product industry
- Prior knowledge/experience with international shipping
