Job Description

Responsible for assembling various documents and/or customer provided materials into completed kits

2nd shift

Responsibilities:

* Perform pre-assembly duties such as; prepping boxes, stocking assembly area, gathering materials, and organizing work area

* Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work, collating materials as necessary

* Pick and package a variety of printed materials or related items that require a variety of packing procedures and techniques.

* Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping in accordance with customer specifications

* Count and sort inventory as required

* May prepare shipments of customer samples.

* Train others in new processes and lean methodologies

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED preferred

* Prior warehouse or kitting experience preferred

* Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.

* Basic communication skills (written and/or verbal).

* Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures.

* Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee.

* Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.

* Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.

* Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

* Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production, including working overtime or a different shift, if needed.

* Must be able to use a ladder to pick items or to retrieve boxes or materials.

* Must be able to stand and move about the facility

* Must be able to bend, reach and turn frequently

* Must be able to lift, pull and push up to 60 pounds frequently

Additional Information

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.65 to $20.20 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include [a sign-on bonus of $X,XXX], overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
