2nd Shift Slitting Operator

Galloway Consolidated Holdings, parent company to Bema Incorporated, Elite Extrusion Technology and Bema Digital Innovations; a recognized leading supplier to the packaging industry; is looking for an experienced Slitting Operator for Second Shift (4PM-2:30AM) with a proven track record in supporting a fast-paced organization. Charles, Illinois.

Salary Range: $25-$29/hour

• Ability to set up and run slitter.
• Read work orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Conduct quality checks and ensuring high quality output of product.
• Meet production goals as related to run rates and waste.
• Ability to do basic math calculations.
• Communicate clearly both verbally and written.
• Basic mechanical skills.
• Meet and exceed set quality standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 2-3 years’ experience
• Physically demanding position: long periods standing, bending, squatting, reaching and pulling. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Overtime
• Helps ensure all policies for the company and the American Institute of Baking (AIB) are followed.
