Packer — St. Charles, IL

Pay Range $19.32 - $20.91/hr + $1.50 shift differential for 3rd shift

• 3rd: 11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday - Friday

• Packer provides support for the operations team by working safely to feed material into machines in a manufacturing environment, inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in the correct configuration.
• Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs into the appropriate packaging.
• Packer makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
• Replace adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery as needed.
• Ensure that any finished goods or work in progress identification labels are present and placed in the correct position.
• Stack finished product in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the area of responsibility is safe, clean, and tidy.
• Promptly inform supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality and efficiencies.
• Follow all company policies and safety rules and regulations.
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

• Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions.
