Location: St. Charles
Overview
Join Foreman Tool and Mold as our go‑to expert in dimensional verification.
Responsibilities- Deliver complete dimensional layouts for PPAP submission.
- Program/operate Zeiss CMM systems;
Zeiss Calypso Software experience is a plus. - Run optical inspections with OGP Smart Scope and Microvu.
- Use all measuring tools with confidence—covering both precision hand metrology and advanced gauges.
- Maintain the condition of CMM and all instrumentation; manage certification and calibration records.
- Leverage SPC and 5 Why to drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Communicate clearly with quality, tooling, and molding teams.
- 3+ years of experience in layout, inspection, or metrology.
- Depth in GD&T and strong quality inspection experience.
- Working knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and the 5 Why root‑cause analysis method.
- ISO 9001 certification experience with disciplined documentation habits.
- Precision measurement & hand metrology and advanced inspection & gauge measurement capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to translate data into decisions.
- Injection molding experience and proven PPAP process experience.
- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) (Zeiss)
