Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Commercial Property Manager / Broker role based in St Charles, IL. The role involves managing day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including responding to tenant requests, coordinating maintenance, monitoring building performance, and ensuring lease compliance. The individual will handle leasing activities such as prospecting for tenants and buyers, conducting property tours, preparing proposals, and supporting negotiations through to executed leases and sales contracts.
The role includes overseeing lease administration tasks, maintaining accurate records and reports, tracking critical dates, and collaborating with legal and accounting as needed. The Commercial Property Manager / Broker will also assist in developing and implementing property-level marketing strategies, analyzing market trends, and supporting ownership with budgets, financial reviews, and asset enhancement recommendations.
- Strong lease-related capabilities, including Lease Administration and Leases, with the ability to manage documentation, critical dates, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Lease Negotiations, including reviewing terms, supporting deal structures, and collaborating with ownership and legal teams.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with tenants, owners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in Property Management, including day-to-day operations, vendor oversight, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate markets, financial concepts (e.g., CAM, NNN, budgeting), and transaction processes for acquisition, sale, and leasing.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks.
- Proficiency with common business software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with property management or CRM systems.
- Relevant real estate license (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe) and prior experience in commercial brokerage or property management preferred.
