Truck Driver CDL A Part-Time

Position Description

We are immediately hiring a Shuttle Transfer Driver at Ryder in St. Charles, IL. The driver will operate shuttle equipment between Ryder customer facilities, including empty trailer movements.

• Hourly Pay: $22.50 per hour
• Weekly Payroll
• Paid Training
• Home Time: local, home daily
• Hours per Week: 25+ hours
• Shift: M/W/F or T/Th/Sat, starting at 8:00 AM

• 80 hours PTO starting Day 1 (use it or get paid)

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid CDL with necessary endorsements (Class
  
  A)
• Class A experience: 9 months within last 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and read/interpret laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, complying with safety & DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Perform other related duties as assigned
