Experienced Carrier Sales Representative

RWB Trucking LLC is hiring an Experienced Carrier Sales Representative to support our growing carrier procurement and operations team.

This role is best suited for someone with real brokerage, carrier sales, dispatch, carrier sourcing, or transportation operations experience. We are looking for someone who can jump in quickly, build carrier relationships, source reliable capacity, negotiate rates, and help support high-priority freight with strong attention to detail.

Experience working with USPS, postal freight, government-related shipments, or other SOP-driven transportation accounts is strongly preferred.

As an Experienced Carrier Sales Representative, you will help source, qualify, and manage carrier capacity across RWB’s freight network. This position requires strong communication, urgency, organization, and the ability to follow customer-specific procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Source and develop reliable carrier relationships
• Negotiate rates with carriers while protecting service and margin
• Cover available loads quickly and professionally
• Confirm carrier compliance, equipment, insurance, and service capability
• Communicate clearly with internal sales, operations, and leadership teams
• Track shipments and provide timely updates
• Support time-sensitive and high-service freight
• Follow customer-specific SOPs and internal process requirements
• Help identify repeat carrier partners for key lanes and programs
• Maintain accurate notes, documentation, and load updates in internal systems

• Prior experience in carrier sales, carrier sourcing, freight brokerage, dispatch, or logistics operations
• Strong phone presence and ability to build carrier relationships
• Ability to negotiate confidently and professionally
• High attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Ability to follow SOPs and customer-specific requirements
• Strong internal communication skills
• Experience with USPS, postal logistics, government freight, or highly structured transportation programs is preferred
• Experience with dry van, box truck, expedited, or dedicated capacity is a plus
