About the JobLakeside HR Group has partnered with our client to recruit a Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator to join a fast‑paced, mission‑driven transportation operations team. As a Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator, you will serve as the central communication hub—triaging incoming requests, coordinating ground and air transportation resources, and ensuring every transport runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll work closely with drivers, supervisors, and client coordinators while maintaining accurate documentation and providing timely updates throughout each transport.

Key Responsibilities- Transport Request Triage:
Receive and assess incoming transport requests via phone and email, ensuring all essential details are captured accurately. - Logistics Planning:
Develop transport plans tailored to client needs, including ground, commercial air, and charter air arrangements. - Resource Scheduling & Dispatch:
Engage, schedule, and dispatch appropriate transportation resources. Provide clear, concise instructions to drivers and air partners. - Transport Monitoring:
Track ground and air movements throughout each transport, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and any changes. - Documentation & Reporting:
Enter client information, transport updates, and detailed notes into the dispatch database with accuracy and consistency. - Client & Team Communication:
Build rapport with client coordinators, region supervisors, and drivers. Maintain a professional, customer‑focused approach in all interactions. - Issue Evaluation & Escalation:
Empathize with client concerns, assess urgency, and escalate issues to management when appropriate.
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple communication channels
- Clear and professional telephone and radio voice
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions based on incoming information
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and information retrieval
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in dispatch, transportation logistics, or medical administrative roles
- Familiarity with dispatching software or logistics platforms
- Experience working in fast‑paced, communication‑heavy environments
- Starting pay: $22.05 per hour, increasing to $23.75 after 90 days
