What You’ll Do- Lead and complete audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Examine financial records to ensure accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with firm policies and applicable regulations
- Prepare audit documentation, reports, and recommendations for clients
- Serve as in-charge on engagements, supervising staff and performing first-level reviews of their work
- Research audit and accounting topics of moderate complexity
- Assist with training, mentoring, and coaching staff accountants
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines
- Solid understanding of audit and attest services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to work with all levels of management
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
- Self-motivated, takes initiative, and works well independently
- Ability to multitask across several engagements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (Accounting preferred)
- CPA candidate
- 3–6 years of public accounting experience (preferred range)
- Prior experience with tax preparation and review is a plus
