Manufacturing Accountant

The Manufacturing Accountant will report to the Controller and be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities.

Requirements for the Manufacturing Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in accounting or finance
• At least three years in a similar accountant position in manufacturing and/or distribution
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliation
• Experience with detailed accounting analysis
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Microsoft Office, including strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)

Skills preferred but not required:

• Cost accounting
• Month and year-end closing
• Power BI
• Supervision of others
• A/P

Candidates are preferred to be local to the Belton, MO area; a sign-on bonus is available to regional candidates meeting the requirements that would need to move closer.
