Accounts Payable Specialist

Kforce is partnering with an organization in Saint Charles, MO seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support end-to-end AP operations, including invoice processing, vendor verification, and payment coordination. This role will help maintain financial accuracy, audit invoices against job-costing structures, and support strong vendor relationships.

• Accounts Payable Specialist will process and code high-volume vendor invoices while ensuring accuracy across accounting and job-costing systems
• Review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and support vendor payment processes
• Maintain vendor records, compliance documentation, and payment files
• As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will assist with AP reconciliations, month-end processes, and audit preparation
• Identify opportunities to improve AP workflows, accuracy, and efficiency across multiple locations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 2+ years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related accounting experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience with accounting systems, AP automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Job-costing, construction, or multi-location experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
