Location: St. Charles

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our parts department—responsible for ordering, tracking, and selling parts to keep both our customers and our internal service team moving forward. Whether you are helping a walk-in customer, taking a phone order, or supporting our service technicians, your ability to problem-solve and navigate inventory systems will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer & Tech Support:
    Answer incoming customer calls and assist walk‑in clients and internal service technicians with parts inquiries.
  • Parts Lookup & Research:
    Utilize equipment details (make, model, serial numbers) to accurately identify required parts.
  • Quoting & Estimating:
    Search internal inventory and OEM/vendor databases to build accurate price quotes and send them to customers in a timely manner.
  • Inventory Management:
    Order, track, and receive parts shipments, ensuring the branch inventory remains accurate and organized.
  • Cross‑Functional

    Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Service Manager and Service Technicians to ensure the shop has the parts needed for timely repairs.
Qualifications & Skills /Requirements
  • Experience:

    2+ years of experience in a parts counter, automotive, or industrial parts role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
  • Technical Savvy:
    Comfort learning and using specialized inventory and dealership management software.
  • Customer Service:
    Strong communication skills, a professional phone demeanor, and a knack for problem‑solving.
Preferred (Big Pluses)
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Familiarity with forklifts and other industrial warehouse equipment.
  • Vendor Familiarity:
    Experience working with TVH or other major industrial OEMs and vendors.
