Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional
We are currently accepting applications for an Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional at John Sharp Early Education Center. Requirements include an associate's degree, or 60 college credit hours, or successful completion of the Pearson Education Paraprofessional Assessment. Twenty-one years of age, ability to read and write, understanding and carrying out oral and written instructions, interest in youth and their educational welfare, experience in working with children in a group setting, ability to work well with learning community, parents, teachers, students, administrators and staff with courtesy, tact, and good judgment along with having good customer service skills.
Be of good character, neat in personal appearance, dependable, reliable, prompt, and flexible and have pleasing manners and personality. Ability to cooperate with teachers and willingness to take directions from teaching staff. Ability to stay uninvolved unless directed by the teacher, even if a situation is perceived differently than the teacher sees it. Annual salary range for the school year: $22,695 - $37,809 (dependent upon experience and qualifications).
