Substitute Teacher
The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of substitute teacher. Please carefully read the qualifications below. Applicants who have met all of the requirements will be contacted to schedule an interview in late August.
Qualifications:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have a current Missouri Teaching Certificate OR a current Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate (requires 36 college hours or completion of online course).
- A criminal fingerprint/background check will be required. If you are applying for a substitute certificate, you will be required to have a background check. Please wait to complete this portion of the application process until you are hired to prevent the need for a duplicate background check fee.
Information on obtaining a substitute certificate can be found on the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education website.
Salary: $175/day for teachers and $120/day for support staff.
