Special Education Paraprofessional
The Raymore-Peculiar School District is seeking highly qualified individuals to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional. This position requires working with students with learning and behavioral needs. Candidates must be able to develop relationships with students as well as assist in building a positive classroom community.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma - Required
- Minimum of 60 college hours
- Completion of Substitute Certificate Course through Frontline Education
- Pass the Para Pro Assessment (prior to June 30, 2026)
- Pass the Para Pathways Assessment (July 1, 2026 forward)
Salary: $16.23 - $20.18/hour, based upon education and previous experience.

This is considered a full time position with benefits available after 60 days of employment. District paid employee medical, dental, and life insurance (with option to purchase coverage for spouse, children, or family). Employee option to purchase voluntary benefits including vision insurance, short term disability, long term disability and other supplemental insurance policies. 10 days PTO per year. District matched retirement contribution of 6.86% to Public School Retirement System (PEERS)
