Overview
As an Air Quality Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our St. Charles, Missouri office, you will evaluate and present information regarding emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications and regulatory compliance reports. Assist clients with sustainability reporting and achieving Environmental, Social, Governance is also an important priority for this role.
You will work with an established technical staff and provide mentoring and technical training.
- Perform engineering calculations, compile permit application documents, prepare compliance reports, and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information.
- Communicate with regulatory personnel and evaluate control technologies and emission reduction options for client facilities.
- Manage, schedule, and budget projects including proposal and report writing.
- Meet and coordinate with clients to obtain and understand project information; communicate with agency personnel.
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Meteorology, or related fields;
- Experience with emission inventory calculations, air permit application preparation, and compliance reports;
- Experience in project management of air quality permitting and compliance projects;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- 7+ years’ consulting, compliance, industry or related experience;
- Knowledge of USEPA air quality regulations;
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
- Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD;
- Experience with MACT/BACT/LAER; and/or
- Tier II, Form R, Hazardous waste regulatory and/or reporting
