Overview
Boeing is seeking a Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join the Precision Engagement Systems Team in St. Charles, MO. The role involves contributing to GN&C algorithms, performance analysis and simulation solutions across weapons programs, with opportunities for professional growth within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security organization.

Position Responsibilities- Gather and define system-level requirements for Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) systems or missions/trajectories
- Perform design and analysis of GN&C systems, simulations, models and tools
- Support design reviews, analyses, simulations and component/system testing to ensure delivery of products that meet or exceed customer requirements
- Support troubleshooting of delivered product operational/service anomalies and incidents
- Participate in new business development efforts
- Work under general supervision
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 1+ year of experience or coursework with aircraft, missile, spacecraft, autonomous platform or similar GN&C systems
- 1+ year of experience using Matlab/Simulink or MATRIXx to model systems
- 1+ year of experience with one or more programming languages (C, C++, Python, Matlab, etc.)
- 5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Current active Secret U.S. Security Clearance
- Experience or coursework in Modern and Optimal Control Theory
- Experience or coursework with simulation and/or system/component modeling
- Experience or coursework with Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques
- Experience or coursework with implementing algorithms in real-time systems

Pay & BenefitsWe offer a Total Rewards package with competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. The specific programs vary by location, eligibility, and collective bargaining agreements. Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions.
Summary pay ranges:
Associate $82,450 - $111,550;
Experienced $102,000 - $138,000. Applications accepted until Feb. 13, 2026.
This position must meet U.S. export control requirements. A “U.S. Person” is required.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which U.S. Citizenship is required. Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required. Visa sponsorship is not offered.
