Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager (Residential Design) to lead residential land development projects from initial planning and civil design through municipal approvals and final delivery. This role combines technical oversight, schedule management, and client communication to ensure high-quality civil engineering outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong site development expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage residential land development projects including grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility design
- Coordinate civil design efforts, project schedules, and deliverables across multiple active projects
- Oversee preparation and review of engineering plans, reports, and supporting technical documentation
- Coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies to secure permitting and approvals
- Communicate proactively with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor budgets, timelines, and overall project performance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, engineering standards, and quality expectations
- Proven experience in residential civil engineering or land development project management
- Strong understanding of site design, grading, drainage, and utility infrastructure concepts
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Professional, client-facing communication abilities
- Familiarity with civil design software preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
