Process Optimization/Production Engineer
This chemical plant is clean and safe with state-of-the-art controls with mostly long-term employees, stable offering a pension plan, and summer hours. Growth could be in any of these on-site groups that include controls, process design, project engineering, production supervision, or EHS. You will be one of eight Process Optimization/Production Engineers assigned to a production unit reporting to the Operations Supervisor.
This job focuses on tracking chemical reactor performance, analyzing data & trends, improving procedures to increase capacity, and supplying the correct process data to the process design group on equipment upgrades.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.S. Chemical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience out of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, utilities, foods, or petroleum
- Must have optimized processes by analyzing data.
- Pluses include PSM, batch manufacturing, reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers and pumps.
