Project Engineer Level 4 Location :

St Charles, MO Duration: 06+ Months Contract

Shift: 1st (9AM-5PM) Clearance:
Secret (post start) Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Job Description Provides the engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. Develops Statements of Work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements. Works with customers and management to obtain approval. Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact, and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedules.

Leads project execution to complete the work statement. Identifies performance metrics. Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program. Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity. Compares actual results to the baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity, and lessons learned. Provides technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

Works under minimal direction.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
* Experience in a production or systems engineering skill code.
* 4+ years of related work experience.
* 3+ years of experience leading teams or managing cross-functional projects in a formal and/or informal role.
* 4+ years of experience with project management tools.
* 4+ years of advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including macro development, intermediate to advanced Excel formulas, and pivot table manipulation.
* 4+ years of experience developing presentations and reporting to senior or executive leadership.
* Knowledge and development experience with Tableau or Power BI metrics.

Preferred Qualifications
* 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Project Management Certification.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification.
* Experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
* Experience with DoD contracts.
* EVM/CAM related experience.
* Microsoft Project/Planner experience. Education / Experience
