Controls Engineer
The Controls Engineer will:
- provide programming and configuration support for daily plant operation (24/7), technical service, maintenance, and project groups.
- provide improvement and changes to control system programs to meet changing operating needs and improve operator interface (Alarms, Graphics).
- maintain documentation of control program intent & implementation, changes initiated, etc.
- work on new and existing control systems.
- do other fun and impactful things!
Requirements:
- Engineering Degree (Chemical or Electrical preferred)
- 4+ years work experience in Chemical/Petro Chemical Manufacturing or other industrial environments.
- Experience with DCS/PLC configuration (preferred Siemens Moore APACS, Siemens S7, Emerson DeltaV or Rockwell Automation Controllogix) and PLC/DCS hardware and software
- Experience with (preferred) Wonderwares HMI
- Working knowledge of network services including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN preferred
- Experience with Databases (SQL Server and MS Access) and Networking
- Working knowledge of ISA 88 a plus.
