Produce designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
Document parts and bills of materials (BOM).
Lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments.
Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems.
Detects and corrects errors.
Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods and processes.
Maintain competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
Maintains awareness and adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
May be required to travel to various locations to support products and/or train personnel.
- Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or related discipline) is required; OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of an Associate’s Degree.
- Experience in Solid Works, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
- Customer driven, innovative and quality-minded in performance of all assigned duties.
Demonstrates expertise in design documentation and product life cycle management, with proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works and AutoCAD. Maintains a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards.
