Job Description
  • Adhere to guest service requirements and interpret and support company policies and procedures.
  • Oversee both the Slots and Table Games departments.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and support the policies of Senior Management at the casino and Ameristar Casino Resort – St. Charles.
  • Ensure compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty.
  • Safeguard confidential and proprietary information disclosed by Ameristar entities or guests.
  • Address team member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
  • Assist the Talent Team with interviews and make hiring recommendations.
  • Train and develop dealers to achieve the highest level of performance.
  • Possess sound knowledge of slots and casino games.
  • Have knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Be fully competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Communicate excellently, both verbally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively work independently or as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and stand for a minimum of eight (8) hours per shift.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license, a valid gaming license in the state of employment, and be able to obtain licenses in other jurisdictions if required.
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to attendance, appearance, safety, and security.
  • Successfully pass a background check and alcohol and drug screening.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
