Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Estimating and Pricing Specialist – Material Team Lead in Saint Charles, MO
. Our team is open to a broad range of experience levels including Level 4 and Level 5 Specialists to find the best fit for the position.
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) in Saint Charles has a broad portfolio of programs and customers, both domestic and international. As a member of the Weapons Estimating team the successful candidate may have the opportunity to support all Direct Attack programs gaining broader experience and visibility.
The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who quickly learns new systems, estimating techniques and works efficiently both independently and on cross-functional teams. They will also have the ability to engage with customers and internal stakeholders, present to senior leadership, and consistently meet tight deadlines with first-time quality.
Position Responsibilities- Lead development of complex material estimates with complex technical requirements through the design, build and support stages of the program
- Lead development and application of pricing strategies using innovative computational techniques
- Lead business proposals, evaluates and makes recommendations based on complex requests for proposal and substantiates estimates and pricing
- Develop complex pricing models
- Lead and perform complex analyses and provide recommendations in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.).
- Lead the development/application/maintenance of unique and non-unique rates and factors for estimating
- Lead compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits
- Bachelor’s degree or higher degree
- 5+ years’ of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- Experience with Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) requirements/U.S. Government contracts
- 5+ years’ experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
- 10+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with and knowledge of United States Government Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Experiencing performing risk analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

4): $119,000 - $161,000
Summary Pay Range (Lead, Level
5): $ 144,500 - $195,500
