UMB’s mortgage team, established in 2013, brings the entire mortgage process in‑house. The Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) is a key member of the mortgage sales team, guiding clients through every stage of the loan process—from initial assessment to closing.
Responsibilities- Advise UMB clients on mortgage options using banking and lending knowledge.
- Build a pipeline of leads, converting them into clients through salesmanship skills.
- Develop relationships with internal stakeholders, real estate agents, and partners to secure referrals.
- Provide continuous progress updates to clients throughout the mortgage process.
- Assess client loan needs and recommend the best‑fit mortgage solutions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Verifiable high volume of mortgage sales experience.
- NMLS Registration.
US Employees in all states: $20,600 – $114,400. The posted compensation range is a good‑faith estimate and may vary by location, experience, and other factors.
