Vice President, Financial Operations & Treasury Position Summary

A growing, multi-location consumer services organization is seeking an experienced, hands-on executive to serve as Vice President of Financial Operations & Treasury. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will oversee the company’s Financial Operations function and the operating disciplines that connect Finance, Accounting, Operations, and business systems.

This role combines treasury leadership, transaction operations, process transformation, internal controls, and acquisition integration. The successful candidate will build and develop a high-performing organization, establish clear accountability, standardize processes, and create scalable capabilities that support continued growth.

• Lead treasury operations, including daily liquidity management, cash positioning, forecasting, and payment controls.

• Manage banking relationships, treasury service providers, merchant services, and related commercial negotiations.

• Oversee daily cash reconciliations while ensuring timely investigation and resolution of exceptions.

• Maintain banking structures, account governance, signatory administration, authorizations, and segregation of duties.

• Partner with executive leadership on banking strategy, debt administration, lender relationships, and liquidity planning.

• Lead Financial Operations across treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax administration, daily cash reconciliation, inventory-related finance processes, and other transaction operations.

• Develop organizational capability through coaching, hiring, performance management, succession planning, and role clarity.

• Establish service-level expectations, operating rhythms, escalation paths, and accountability across the organization.

• Foster a culture of ownership, responsiveness, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, controls, workflows, and vendor payment processes.

• Lead AP automation, system implementations, workflow redesign, approval structures, and master data governance.

• Standardize policies and procedures across multiple operating locations while reducing manual work and exceptions.

• Ensure invoice processing, payment timing, documentation, and access controls remain accurate, timely, and audit-ready.

• Oversee receivables, billing operations, collections, deductions, and transaction controls.

• Improve collections performance, aging visibility, dispute resolution, and working capital management.

• Develop reporting and KPIs focused on accuracy, timeliness, and operational performance.

• Oversee operational tax processes, registrations, permits, and filing calendars.

• Coordinate internal and external resources supporting tax compliance.

• Ensure timely preparation of reconciliations, documentation, payments, and audit support.

• Lead operational tax setup associated with acquisitions and new business locations.

• Partner with executive leadership on insurance programs and renewals.

• Oversee budgeting, premium analysis, financial reporting, payment coordination, and financial controls related to insurance programs.

• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support effective risk management.

• Provide executive oversight of inventory finance processes, physical inventories, cycle counts, variance reporting, and issue resolution.

• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and IT to strengthen inventory controls and accuracy.

• Ensure disciplined financial controls surrounding inventory movement, system setup, and operational changes.

• Lead Financial Operations activities supporting acquisitions, new locations, and major system implementations.

• Oversee integration planning and execution across treasury, banking, AP, AR, tax, cash management, inventory controls, and related financial processes.

• Establish implementation standards, testing protocols, training, governance, and post-implementation stabilization plans.
