** Role:
** We are seeking a dedicated
** Transport Driver
** to join our team! The Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for the residents of our retirement community, taking them to and from appointments and waiting for them during the appointments.

** Responsibilities:
*** Drive residents to and from appointments and waiting for them during
* Assist residents on and off the vehicle, sometimes pushing their wheelchair as necessary
* Follow and uphold the Community’s philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident’s quality of care and quality of life
* Follow and uphold policies and procedures of the Community
* Attend and participate in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned
* Observe residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
* Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests
* Assist in coordination of scheduling and daily appointments.
* Complete any other assignments including tasks assigned to other departments## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

** The Driver must have a clean driving record and be able to safely operate an oversized van with wheelchair lift. This Driver may be required to obtain a commercial drivers license or chauffeurs licenses depending on the local or state requirements.
