This position reports to the Manager Office Services and Facilities and works closely with individuals in all divisions of NISC. This position is responsible maintaining a clean work environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are clean and safe. This is a full‑time position with a flexible start time for the shift. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday reporting to the Lake Saint Louis office location.
The full‑time shift is required to start between the hours of 8 am‑8 pm. The successful applicant’s preferred shift hours and schedule will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process with the Manager of Office Services and Facilities. The starting pay for this position is $15.00/hr applicants must be able to complete a background check satisfactorily as a contingency of employment.
Functions
- Clean offices as often as required.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
- Clean, mop, wash, and vacuum floors.
- Empty trash.
- Dust and wash walls and light fixtures.
- May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
- Track maintenance and cleaning supplies.
- Clean windows in high traffic areas.
- Dust and vacuum furniture.
- Help set up and tear down meetings as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to interact in a positive manner with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize.
- Strong attention to detail.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

In addition, in order to perform the duties of this position, the employee is required to lift at least 70 lbs. frequently each day.
