Operations Manager
Position Summary:
EMS is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift operations, running from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with the expectation of working until 1:00 AM on Mondays. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing performance, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, and fostering a safe, collaborative, and efficient work environment. We're looking for a strong leader with warehouse management experience who excels at motivating teams, solving problems on the fly, and keeping operations running at their best.
WhatYou'll Do:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in day-to-day operations, including:
- Assigning and overseeing tasks to ensure productivity, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Monitoring shipping supplies and maintaining inventory replenishment.
- Ensuring employees follow company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
- Coaching, evaluating, and developing team members for professional growth.
- Leading safety and accident-prevention initiatives.
- Rolling up your sleeves and taking a hands‑on approach when needed.
- Supporting other warehouse duties as business needs arise.
- Experience:
3+ years in a supervisory or management role within warehouse/distribution. - Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. - Skills:
Strong problem‑solving ability, effective communication, basic math, and ability to read a tape measure. - Leadership:
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable with fairness and consistency. - Knowledge:
Familiarity with EMS products preferred.
