Develops and implements vendor relations strategy to efficiently and effectively obtain products and services required by Stewart from third party suppliers at the best total cost of ownership. Through effective oversight and engagement of people, processes and supplier relationships, vendor relations creates a competitive advantage for Stewart through innovation, cost management, quality and process improvements, asset optimization, risk mitigation, social responsibility and sustainability.

Fosters strategic relationships and manages performance with key suppliers by collaborating on value creation, risk mitigation, governance and enhanced customer service on a continuous basis.

• Responsible for managing end-to-end vendor relationships to ensure contractual obligations are met and the most profitable service is achieved
• Supports review and input of Vendor Service Agreements, request for pricing and information for new business as well as statements of work
• Manages individual contributors and/or supervisors
• Accountable for the performance and results of a team within area of specialty
• Assesses departmental priorities to address resource and operational challenges
• Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures and department plan; receives guidance from senior leaders
• Applies understanding of the business and how own area integrates with others to achieve departmental objectives
• Reviews the team’s ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives
• Identifies and solves technical and operational problems; understands broader impact across the department
• Manages one or more generally related teams; adapts department plans and priorities to meet short-term service and/or operational objectives
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred

• Typically requires 8+ years of related work experience

$70,000.00 - $ Annually

The base salary range provided is consistent with similar roles at the Company. The base salary range is not an absolute, but a guide, and actual offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, education, experience, location, market conditions, and other compensation components. Depending upon all of the preceding considerations, the base salary may be lower or higher than the stated range.
