Production Manager

Terramac was established to produce the world’s leading crawler carriers. Units are sold through a full dealer network which offers customers easy-to-locate parts and service throughout the world. The units can be customized with support equipment to serve many industries such as pipeline, utility, mining, environmental, general construction, and more.

Terramac is looking for a Production Manager at our St. Louis, MO location. The Production Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing activities related to production. You will ensure that production goals, quality standards, and cost‑efficiency targets are met while maintaining a safe and organized workplace. You will work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth production and delivery processes.

The Production Manager maintains daily production paperwork, monitors daily operations, and informs the Plant Manager of potential issues. You will provide training to production employees and perform the same labor functions as Production Technicians when required.

• Daily production operations and reporting new developments or concerns to Plant and Division leadership.
• Lead and manage the production team to meet operational and business requirements.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Monitor daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met.
• Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Train new personnel on existing production protocols, safety, and facility equipment.
• Enforce all company employee, facility, and health and safety policies and procedures.
• Regularly coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other support departments.
• Perform Production Technician functions as needed.
• Stay aware of all production jobs and ensure safety and quality are in place on all jobs.

• High Vášku diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience required with strong leadership skills.
• 3–5 yearsreden mechanical, automotive, or electrical assembly experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and work ethic.
• Flexibility, ability to change direction with ease.
• Safety and quality orientation.
• Self‑directed, capable of working independently and within a team environment.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

• Technical school certificate or degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with assembling heavy equipment such as construction equipment is preferred.
