Job Summary:
Zoltek-Toray Group is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Manufacturing Mill Operators at our Missouri Research Park facility, located in St. Charles/Weldon Spring, MO.
This role ensures that the process adheres to the Operating Manual Procedures and that the product consistently meets quality standards. The operator must monitor the equipment's performance, make necessary adjustments, and perform routine checks to ensure the milling process is meeting the Technical Data Sheet (TDS).
This position requires availability Monday
- Thursday 4:30 am - 3:00 pm. Occasional overtime as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manually feed Quality approved fiber into feed end of milling equipment. process.
* Monitor mill to ensure correct operation.
* Inspect quality of processed material, ensuring customer specifications are met.
* Assemble boxes for packaging.
* Collect and bag Quality Control samples.
* Remove boxes up to 50 pounds from scale and properly close and seal for shipment.
* Adhere labels to boxes of product.
* Accurately complete necessary paperwork for inventory control.
* Inspect equipment and product for potential problems and report to foreman immediately.
* Communicate with production leaders regarding quality, production or equipment concerns.
* Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean.
* Be knowledgeable of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety procedures, including emergency shut-down, power loss and evacuation procedures.
* Ability to perform necessary testing to ensure compliance with TDS.
Qualifications:
* Graduation from high school or a GED is required
* Experience of 1 year or more in manufacturing or a factory environment is strongly desired
* Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures, document information, communicate effectively with shift lead and co-workers
* Ability to troubleshoot and take effective corrective action to resolve problems
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job:
* Remove boxes up to 50 lbs. from scale and properly close and seal for shipment.
* Job involves lifting, turning, bending, reaching, pulling, walking and standing for extended periods of time.
* Ability to operate a forklift
* Must be able to wear respirator and be clean shaven.

* The atmosphere contains airborne particles. Employee must be able to wear the following PPE while performing this job: full-face respirator,(which requires a clean shave face), hearing protection, full Tyvek suit and gloves.
* Work environment is extremely hot and humid in the summer and cold in the winter.
