Production Supervisor

What You'll Do- Supervise and support production employees during assigned shifts
- Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
- Monitor production schedules, workflow, and departmental performance
- Ensure productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved
- Lead daily shift meetings and ongoing employee communication
- Train, coach, and support new and existing team members
- Maintain accurate production, staffing, and performance reports
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate material shortages
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
- Ensure housekeeping, safety, and operational standards are maintained
- Investigate production issues and assist with corrective actions
- Coordinate with maintenance regarding equipment performance and repairs
- Assist with employee evaluations and performance management
- Provide leadership support and assist with plant operations as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience with production reporting and operational metrics
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Forklift Certification required
- Ability to motivate employees and maintain accountability
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working flexible schedules when needed
- Strong conflict-resolution skills
- Computer literacy required
- Ability to walk the production floor throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and production environments
- Ability to work in areas with moderate to high noise levels
