Precision Saw Operator-1st Shift
We're seeking a dependable Precision Saw Operator to join a growing manufacturing team on 1st shift. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, taking accurate measurements, and producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do- Set up and operate industrial saw equipment according to work orders and specifications
- Verify stock and materials meet production requirements before cutting
- Measure and inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Mark and label materials accurately for production and inventory purposes
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Complete required documentation and equipment checklists
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times
- Previous saw operation, machine operation, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift certification required
- Strong math skills, including fractions and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, safety procedures, and equipment documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
