Mill Operator on 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm) you are at the heart of our steel mill, responsible for tasks related to the operation of our weld steel-pipe mill machine as well as various heavy equipment. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves AND you bring a mechanical mindset with an ambitious & positive attitude to learn--this job is for you!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize various hand tools and equipment.
• Operation of various hydraulic and electrical systems related to the mill machine.
• Utilize various computer apps and programs.
• Perform various mathematical calculations.
• Utilize cutting torches, plasma cutters and welding equipment.
• Perform other various tasks within the manufacturing process of helical steel pipe.
• Ability to operate a crane and forklift (training provided).

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalence
• Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts required are the employee’s responsibility
• Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, protective gloves provided by Trinity
• Must be able to work in changing ambient temperatures.
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience working with mechanical tools and environments.
• Must have a willingness to train and learn new equipment.
