Soldering Tech

Hire Level is seeking a Soldering Tech in Saint Charles, MO. Hire Level is partnering with an established manufacturer of commercial coffee and tea brewing equipment and related products. Located in a state-of-the-art 120,000-square-foot facility in Saint Charles, the company combines engineering, metal fabrication, electronics, and manufacturing under one roof. The ideal candidate has hands-on soldering experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read schematics and assembly instructions.

IPC certification is a major plus!

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire | Full-Time

Location:

Saint Charles, MO

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:30AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $19 - $21/hr.

• Perfom hand soldering and desoldering of electronic components, including through the hole and surface mount (SM)
  T parts
• Assemble circuit boards, wiring, and electronic assemblies according to schematics and work instructions.
• Inspect Solder joints to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Troubleshoot and repair defective electronic assemblies
• Use Tools such as soldering irons, hot air rework stations and microscopes
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following ESD Precautions
• Document work performed, including repairs and modifications
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in soldering electronic components
• Familiarity with IPC standards
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints and assembly instructions
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits
• Good eyesight (corrective vision acceptable)
• IPC Certification is a huge plus
