? If you answered YES, then this job is for YOU! Trinity Products is in search of a Dyna Operator for our St. Charles Mill. Position is
3rd
Shift(Sunday
- Thursday, 9:00pm - 5:30am) and will train on 1st Shift
(
Monday
- Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
) for approximately 4-6 weeks before transitioning to 3rd shift. Main focus of this position is processing steel pipe according to work order instructions by cutting pipe to specified lengths and end requirements. Hands-on training provided!
What You'll Do:
- Utilize Dyna Machine (stand-alone plasma unit) to make circumferential cuts to steel pipe pipe.
- Keep the flow of steel materials moving at a steady rate by multi-tasking and having a strong attention to detail.
- Utilize various hand tools and equipment.
- Utilize mobile device applications and programs.
- Utilize a tape measure to ensure cuts are accurate.
- Perform various mathematical calculations to ensure accuracy of pipe measurements.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or GED preferred
, or a strong combination of work experience and practical skills. - 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial setting is preferred.
- Solid mechanical aptitude
and comfort working with hand tools, machinery, and equipment. - Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts are required and the employee’s responsibility. Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, & protective gloves provided by Trinity.
- Must be able to work in a
fast-paced environment
with accuracy top of mind. - Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be comfortable working in varied ambient temperatures
- Ability to multi-task and with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to read tape measure.
- Must be able to read and understand work orders.
