The Role
The Marketing Lead will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and leading the marketing function to enhance brand awareness and support business growth. This role requires a self-driven professional who can operate autonomously and collaborate closely with the preconstruction team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute persuasive marketing copy and materials tailored to the AEC industry, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage and maintain the company's social media presence, crafting strategies that connect with industry stakeholders, potential clients, and prospective employees.
- Create and distribute valuable, relevant content-using platforms like Canva that attracts and engages target audiences, including preconstruction teams, project proposals, case studies, recruiting materials, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and implement online marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, and social media marketing, to increase digital footprint, brand awareness, and lead generation.
- Support marketing campaigns and initiatives, including administrative, coordination, and analytical tasks to measure and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with the preconstruction and business development teams to align marketing efforts with project acquisition goals.
- Provide marketing support to Human Resources and internal committees, including employer branding, recruiting initiatives, internal communications, and event promotion.
- Coordinate photography and video content capture related to construction operations, special events, workforce initiatives, and company culture, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Lead the marketing function autonomously, driving innovation and continuous improvement in strategies and execution.
- Leverage knowledge of SMPS best practices and AEC marketing trends to ensure effective positioning, messaging, and visual storytelling.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in copywriting, content marketing, and digital marketing within the AEC or related industries preferred.
- Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools to create visually compelling marketing materials.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to write clear, compelling, and technical marketing content tailored for heavy civil construction and AEC audiences.
- Experience leading marketing initiatives autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, analytics tools, and SMPS marketing standards is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Office-based in St. Charles, MO.
