OverviewThe Registered Nurse will utilize theoretical concepts as the basis for decisions in practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients in accordance with standards of nursing practice.
As a Regional Resource RN, you will float between the designated East Community Mercy Hospital facilities.
Position DetailsHospital: Mercy St. Louis and surrounding communities.
Department: Emergency Department Regional Float Pool.
Status: Full Time.
Shift: Nights.
Incentives- Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 – No Contract Base Pay (determined by experience)
- Regional Float Pool Differential: $15.00
- Additional Shift Differential: $2.75/Evenings, $4.60/Nights, $1.50/Weekends
- Stay Premium Program:
Active after 2 years with Mercy. Up to $8/hour based on years of Mercy service. - Annual Merit Increase

Required
Education:
Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
Preferred Education: BSN.
Licensure: Must personally obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years Emergency Department RN experience; at least 6 months within the last year.
Preferred Experience: Epic experience.
Certifications (Must have to start): BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, MANDT (within 90 days of hire).
Physical Requirements/Demands: Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
