Nursing Laboratory and Remediation Coordinator

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, Day, On‑site.

Salary starts at $60,000 and increases depending on experience.

The Nursing Laboratory and Remediation Coordinator (9‑month full‑time faculty role) is responsible for managing the simulation and skills laboratories that support the Practical Nursing and Associate Nursing programs. This role also provides support for nursing students in theory, clinical, simulation, and lab settings to improve comprehension, academic performance, retention, and NCLEX pass rates.

The coordinator works closely with nursing faculty to:

• Design simulation scenarios.
• Teach clinical skills.
• Provide performance feedback.
• Deliver targeted remediation across theory, clinical, simulation, and lab settings.
• Manage simulation and skills laboratories.

• Current, unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in Missouri.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BSN) with a clinical component.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with simulation technologies and proficiency in computer/simulation software.

• Broad clinical background, including medical‑surgical nursing, medication calculation and administration, simulation, and remediation.
• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN).
• Simulation certification (e.g., CHSE) or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience teaching in nursing programs.
