• At least 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience, particularly in Neuro OR
• RN license (Nursing Diploma/Associate’s in Nursing)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior Neuro OR nursing experience

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment
• Educates patients and their families on managing illness or injury, including home care and medication administration
• Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities
• Participates in professional development
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
• Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, respecting values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs
