Compensation and IncentivesSign on bonus eligible up to $7,500.00.
ScheduleNights 7 PM to 7:30 AM every third weekend rotation.
12 hours of call in a 6-week schedule.

The Labor and Delivery department is a 23‑bed unit with spacious labor, delivery, and recovery suites that contribute to a soothing, safe, and exceptional patient experience.
Role PurposeProvides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards of care.
ResponsibilitiesPromotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient, family or caregiver in accordance with standards.
Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
BJC has determined this is a safety‑sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
