Provides direct patient care activities within the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities include:

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management, post‑treatment home care and medication administration.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family or caregiver.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the care plan across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs.
• Maintains constant state of alertness and works safely (safety‑sensitive position).

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  None required (entry level).

• Licensure:
  Registered Nurse (RN).

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  2 years ICU, ED, IR, or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Shift: 7:30–6:00 p.m. plus on‑call.
