A registered nurse (RN) specialized in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is being sought in St. Charles, Missouri. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care, supervising clinical staff, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes. The RN maintains compliance with safety standards and promotes a safe environment for both patients and staff.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid nursing license, current CPR certification, and at least two years of bedside clinical experience in a similar setting. Experience with ICU skills for long-term acute care is preferred. Previous experience in a select medical facility is a plus.
• Additional Information:
  The RN performs comprehensive initial assessments within 8 hours of patient admission, develops individualized care plans, and coordinates discharge planning starting from the day of admission. Responsibilities include timely documentation, patient education, communication of status changes, and supervision of ancillary nursing staff. The role demands active participation in team activities, resource management, and adherence to hospital safety standards, including safe patient handling, infection control, and hazard awareness.
  
  The RN may assume charge responsibilities following orientation and is encouraged to pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education.
