Registered Nurse

Seeking a registered nurse for a medical-surgical unit, providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies and protocols.

• Utilizing nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life through systematic evaluation.
• Establishing effective relationships and advocating for patients and their families.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans using the nursing process.
• Assessing diverse human responses and considering physical, cultural, social, and spiritual factors.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to plan and evaluate care.
• Providing patient education on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Fostering a healthy work environment and serving as a mentor to colleagues and students.
• Applying evidence-based practices tailored to patients’ age and clinical needs.
• Performing point of care testing and other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• No prior experience required.

• Constant speech, standing, walking, and visual acuity.
• Frequent lifting, reaching, and data entry.
• Occasional patient lifting and movement, bending, and driving.
• Ability to perceive odors and sounds vital for patient safety.
