Responsibilities
  • Implement and administer the Quality Control Plan based on client‑approved documentation.
  • Perform daily inspections or direct inspectors to ensure compliance with delivery order requirements.
  • Prepare material submittals, Material Delivery Verification Forms, and Daily Quality Control Reports.
  • Attend pre‑construction meetings with subcontractors to promote understanding of the Quality Control Plan and expected quality levels.
  • Maintain on‑site records of quality control operations, activities, tests, and inspections performed.
  • Coordinate third‑party testing agents as outlined in the quality control plan.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures to assess cost and responsibility for unacceptable material and supplies.
  • Exercise stop‑work authority as needed.
  • Monitor all job site operations for compliance with contract requirements, including noise and dust control, non‑interruption of APS activities, and utility shutdown procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Centennial’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and local requirements such as OSHA and USACE EM385.1.1.
  • Travel extensively across the United States to support projects at various locations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor.
  • Minimum 2 years in a quality control responsible role.
  • Experience working on projects of approximately $5 million in annual volume or more.
  • Extensive knowledge of building codes and general engineering principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to adapt and remain flexible to frequent changes in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Demonstrated integrity consistent with Centennial’s core values.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment with people of various backgrounds and styles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Pro Core, Adobe, and other relevant technology, design, means and methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field (highly desired).
  • Previous formal safety and quality control training certifications (highly desired).
Physical Demands

Ability to walk terrain and surfaces that may be uneven or temporary; regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands frequently; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, squat or reach; frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
